VersIQuote ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. Related: Cookie Policy.
Who we are
VersIQuote (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides fabrication shop software at versiquote.com. Contact privacy questions at privacy@fabshop.app.
Counsel review: insert full legal entity name and registered business address before launch.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the details of your organisation. When you use VersIQuote, we also collect usage data such as the actions you take within the platform, so we can improve the service.
If you contact us by email, we receive the address and content you send.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
• Operate, maintain, and improve the VersIQuote platform.
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, contract copies).
• Respond to support requests.
• Process subscription payments via our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details — Stripe handles payment data under their own privacy and security standards.
• Measure marketing-site performance when you consent to analytics cookies (see Cookies below).
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely in cloud infrastructure based in the United States. We apply industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls including Row-Level Security so one organisation cannot access another’s data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
Cookies
VersIQuote uses essential cookies to keep you signed in (a secure, HttpOnly session cookie).
On our public marketing pages we may also use Google Analytics 4 and Meta (Facebook) Pixel — only after you accept analytics via our cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime using “Cookie settings” in the footer. See our Cookie Policy for details.
These analytics tools are not loaded inside the signed-in application, customer quote portals, or invoice share links.
Third-party services (processors)
VersIQuote uses the following service providers to operate the product:
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
• Google Analytics — marketing-site analytics (public pages only, consent required).
• Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement pixel (public pages only, consent required).
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns about how they handle data. Confirm Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are in place with each vendor before launch.
Your rights (United States)
Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA where applicable), you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We do not sell personal information for money. Marketing analytics load only with your consent. To exercise rights, email privacy@fabshop.app. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically within 30–45 days).
Canada and Australia
If we offer VersIQuote to residents of Canada or Australia, additional rules may apply (including PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 in Canada, and the Australian Privacy Principles). You may request access or correction of your personal information by contacting privacy@fabshop.app. Counsel should expand this section before actively marketing in those countries.
Customer content and uploads
Organisations using VersIQuote may upload logos, photos, and other content. Customers are responsible for having the rights to that content. See our Terms of Service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email where appropriate.
